Scientific Solutions, Inc. while committed to novel innovation, research and development has proven itself to be a leader with our intruder/swimmer detection sonar network and our marine mammal detection systems.   Our goal over the next few years is to expand the performance capabilities of these systems and to market them as standalone products or as a component to other integrated systems.  We will call upon our software development team who has vast experience in working with open architectures especially within Department of Defense platforms and also by leveraging other opportunities with various strategic partners. 

We are also committed to maintain our current direction as one of the finest research and development firms in our area of focus.  We will continue to search for new ocean acoustic opportunities to help with both military and homeland security concerns.  Additionally, SSI will focus other efforts on the expansion of our software facilities.  By taking advantage of the demand for integration requirements, it is our plan to grow our visibility within the Department of Defense and the Department of Homeland Security.
As the demand for in water security increases at ports, harbors, commercial piers and navy bases, we see our best opportunities for growth.  By integrating our Intruder Defense Sonar Network with other harbor security products, SSI will be able to provide protection that is lacking in the majority of overall harbor defense systems.  We are already fielding inquiries from numerous people responsible for the protection of water side security and will market these areas aggressively. 

One area that we have yet to explore and plan to is to investigate what work is available within other branches of the military.  To this point in time, our primary client has always been the navy.  Having a software group   that has implemented software integration techniques and worked with open architectures, SSI will promote these strengths and seek to become an asset to other service branches  as well.
