Jay Lustig is a graduate of the Isenberg School of Management at the University of Massachusetts, Amherst campus. He joined Scientific Solutions in 2001 as the Director of Business Development where he served as the external representative of the company as well as performing internal duties. He was promoted to Chief Operation Officer and assumed the role of taking more responsibility for the business operations as well as maintaining his business development duties. In his tenure with Scientific Solutions he has also served as project manager for such projects as the Integrated Marine Mammal Monitoring and Protection System (IMAPS), a system to detect and track marine mammals from various sources of inputs and also the project manager for an autonomous drifting data collection buoy designed for the Department of Energy.
Mr. Lustig left Scientific Solutions in 2012 and obtained his Series 7 and Series 66 FINRA licenses. In 2014 he returned to SSI to serve as the company’s Chief Executive officer. He is responsible for day to day operations of the company, serves as an assistant project manager and continues to provide a degree of business development for the company as well.
He is a past board member of the National Defense Industrial Association and currently serves on the New Hampshire Chapter Board of the Association of the United States Army and is member of the board of directors for the Pennichuck Water Company.
In his spare time he enjoys spending time on the golf course, listening to music, and enjoying the company of his family.
